I am an assistant professor of political science in Auburn University at Montgomery’s Department of Political Science and Public Administration. My research and teaching interests center upon law and courts, state politics, and political communications. My research has been published in journals such as the Journal of Law and Courts, State Politics & Policy Quarterly, and Political Behavior. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of Montevallo in 2011 and my Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in 2016. I began teaching at Auburn-Montgomery in 2016. I regularly teach courses on judicial politics, constitutional law, southern politics, research design, and statistics.
